After months of speculation, it looks like Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have confirmed their rumored romance — the two were spotted holding hands in public.
According to TMZ, the actress and record executive were seen walking hand in hand into an office building in New York City on Sunday (Oct. 5). The pair were first spotted together in Venice back in June and have since been seen dining out multiple times. Most recently, they hit up Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights — with Sydney’s parents tagging along, hinting that things might be getting more serious.
Last month, a source close to the duo said they weren’t official yet. “Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what girls in their 20s do — she’s dating,” the insider shared. The 28-year-old ended her seven-year engagement to Jonathan Davino earlier this year. She was also briefly linked to Machine Gun Kelly after they were seen together in Las Vegas, though MGK quickly shut down the rumors.
As for Braun, 44, he stepped away from artist management last year after a career managing major stars like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and The Kid Laroi. He finalized his divorce from health activist Yael Cohen in 2022 after seven years of marriage. The two share three children.
“We’re family forever. It goes both ways,” Braun said on The Diary of a CEO podcast, choosing not to dig deep into the breakup. “It’s not like there was one thing happening. Both people have to play a role in where we got to. Things happened both ways.”
