Halle Bailey is getting ready to drop her debut studio album.
On Wednesday (Oct. 8), the 25-year-old singer shared a teaser trailer on her social media pages, officially announcing her first album, Love? Or Something Like It.
In the moody clip, Bailey stands in the dark wearing a dramatic, ruffled red gown.
“Once upon a time, there was a young girl that believed in love. She believed everyone belonged to someone,” she narrates. “So all she ever wanted in life was to find the truest form of love. Was it ever possible? And here’s what happened.”
Her caption read, “A story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after. out 10/24. this one means everything to me.”
Earlier this year, Bailey’s ongoing legal dispute with ex DDG over custody of their 1-year-old son, Halo, made headlines. In August, a judge ruled that both parents must refrain from sharing content about their child on social media.
Bailey has kept a relatively low musical profile in 2025, likely due to her filming commitments for the romantic comedy Italianna, where she stars alongside Regé-Jean Page. Still, she managed to release the singles “Back and Forth” and “Braveface” earlier this year.
Love? Or Something Like It is set to arrive on Oct. 24.
