Following a frightening moment at her Miami concert, Billie Eilish made sure to show appreciation to a fan who stepped in to protect her.
The fan, 18-year-old Aniyah—now affectionately dubbed “red bandana girl” by Eilish’s fanbase—went viral after footage captured her confronting a man who aggressively grabbed Eilish’s arm as she walked past the front row.
Since the incident, Aniyah’s life has completely changed. Eilish’s brother, Finneas, gave her a special shoutout on Instagram, writing, “Red bandana girl from last night’s show rules.”
Once identified, Aniyah saw her social media explode, gaining more than half a million TikTok followers within hours.
StubHub also stepped in, gifting her floor seats for the following night’s Miami show. To top it all off, Billie Eilish herself sent Aniyah a care package filled with merch as a personal thank-you.
In a TikTok story time, Aniyah revealed that she snagged her pit ticket just a few hours before the concert, after seeing in a fan group chat that extra tickets had popped up on Ticketmaster. Despite being nearly 300th in line for general admission, she managed to make her way to the barricade once inside the venue—putting her in the perfect spot to step in when the man grabbed Eilish.
While Billie Eilish hasn’t publicly addressed the incident, authorities told ABC News that the individual responsible was promptly removed from the venue.
