Rapper Armani White Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Music Video in the Middle of an Interstate

Rapper Armani White was arrested on Sunday (Oct. 12) after allegedly dancing on a concrete barrier in the middle of a highway while filming a music video.

The “Billie Eilish” rapper, whose real name is Enoch Tolbert, was taken into custody in Laurel County, Kentucky, on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and stopping, standing, or parking on a limited-access highway.

According to TMZ, police in London, Kentucky, responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a person jumping onto a concrete divider in the middle of Interstate 75.

Armani was released a few hours later, with charges still pending. His mugshot revealed him without his usual signature braids and beads.

The 29-year-old Philadelphia native signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2023, later releasing Road to Casablanco, which featured his breakout hit “Billie Eilish.”

His earlier EP, Things We Lost in the Fire, was inspired by a tragic Philadelphia house fire that killed four of his family members and led to arson arrests for both Armani and his brother while they were still in middle school.

The two were released within months, and the charges were eventually dropped.

“Sitting in that cell, I realized how much fire had taken away from me in my life,” Armani reflected in a 2021 interview with Swidlife.
