Nicki Minaj is making it clear she’s riding for Britney Spears amid the pop icon’s feud with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
On Thursday (October 16), the Pink Friday 2 rapper took to X to send a sharp message directly to K-Fed.
“KEVIN FEDERLINE BITCH WHEN I CATCH U,” she wrote in a since-deleted post.

Nicki Minaj jumped in to defend Britney Spears after the singer publicly clapped back at ex-husband Kevin Federline over claims in his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew.
The Pink Friday 2 rapper quote-tweeted Spears’ lengthy post responding to the book, which digs into the pair’s three-year marriage, 2007 divorce, and their co-parenting struggles.
“The constant gaslighting from [my] ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting,” Spears wrote on X.
Federline’s tell-all, set to drop Tuesday (October 21), has already stirred controversy, with several outlets publishing shocking excerpts. The book reportedly includes troubling claims about Spears’ behavior during their marriage and her parenting. The former couple share two sons, Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston, 20. Federline was awarded full custody of them in 2008 following the start of Spears’ conservatorship.
One excerpt published by The New York Times alleges that the boys once woke to find Spears “standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — ‘Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” before she walked away without explanation. Federline also accuses her of erratic behavior and using cocaine while breastfeeding.
Spears swiftly shut down the claims, calling them “white lies” and reiterating her love for her sons.
“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys,” she wrote. “Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life. Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by [their] own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves.”
Spears revealed that she’s only seen one of her sons for “45 min[s]” in the past five years, while the other has visited just four times.
“I have pride too,” she continued. “From now on I will let them know when I am available. Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here. I will always love them, and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life for the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.”

Thursday’s X post wasn’t the first time Nicki Minaj has come to Britney Spears’ defense. The rapper, who collaborated with Spears on the 2011 “Till the World Ends” remix, previously slammed Kevin Federline after he posted — and later deleted — a video seemingly showing Spears arguing with their sons.
“Only cowards use the media against a famous person who they once loved, they procreated with, they’re being taken care of by, they once were being taken care of by,” Nicki said on Queen Radio, per Business Insider. “She loves her kids more than life itself.”
