DJ Akademiks Says Roc Nation Deposition Was Filled With “Stupid Questions” About Nicki Minaj and Drake

DJ Akademiks has called out Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team and Roc Nation, claiming they hit him with unnecessary and off-topic questions during his deposition in the defamation case Megan filed against Milagro Gramz.

“Just did my second Roc Nation Meg Thee Stallion deposition. That law firm wasting Jay-Z money. This time they tried to act right… no more Nicki [Minaj] and Drake questions,” he wrote. “Shout out to the Jersey federal judge keeping Roc Nation in line… they harassing real n***as. I believe Nicki.”

“It’s no way they think they getting millions from Milagro.. so why spend hundred of thousands to ask stupid questions bout other n***as,” he added. “My thought they got a multi million budget for attorneys to bully anybody who speak against em to try silence em.”

Akademiks expressed disbelief over what he saw as the legal team’s strange fixation on Nicki Minaj and Drake, even though the case had nothing to do with them.

“Roc Nation n Meg had to spend over $150k on all the deposition shit wit me. They got 10 lawyers on there watchin, takin notes the first time, and DON’T wanna talk bout Milagro or Meg lol—they wanted Drake n Nicki lol,” he wrote. “Who funding this?? Math ain’t makin sense.”

He also alleged that prosecutors attempted to exceed the seven-hour federal deposition limit but were denied a three-hour extension “to ask more shit bout Drake, Nicki [and] their opps.”

“This how u know Roc Nation thirsty for info bout Drake n Nicki. Max allowable time for a federal civil deposition is 7 hours. I clowned ’em for 7 hours n they got tight,” Akademiks wrote, adding that the judge only granted an extra 45 minutes and barred lawyers from asking about Minaj and Drake.

He went on to ridicule what he believed was Megan’s team’s legal theory — that Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tory Lanez were allegedly behind or funding coordinated online attacks against the “Mamushi” rapper.

“They might b schizophrenic!” Ak wrote in response to the claim.

He also took shots at what he called Megan’s team’s “crazy” legal theory — that Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tory Lanez were allegedly funding or orchestrating online attacks against the “Mamushi” rapper.

“They might b schizophrenic!” Ak wrote, mocking the idea.
