After more than a decade together, Kylie Jenner is mourning the loss of her beloved Italian greyhound, Norman.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared the heartbreaking news on Wednesday (Oct. 22) with an Instagram carousel filled with photos of Norman over the years. Norman was one of Kylie’s first dogs, and she now owns several other Italian greyhounds and dachshunds.
“In Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman,” Jenner wrote in her caption. “I still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much. I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one.”
She included touching photos of her and Norman together, including two sweet shots of the pup with her children, Stormi and Aire. Kylie added that Norman was a Christmas gift she received just after turning 17 — and called him the “best gift” she ever got.

“Normy, you filled my life and so many others with pure joy. Almost 13 years old, and yet I know I’ll remember you far longer than the time we got to share,” Jenner wrote.
She ended her tribute with, “It makes me happy knowing my kids got to meet you and love you. My sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you. Rest in peace, my precious Normandle. I love you forever.”
Jenner had long dreamed of owning an Italian greyhound — even tweeting about it back in 2012. Two years later, she got her wish when Norman joined her family.
Season 7 of The Kardashians premieres Thursday on Hulu.
