Drake has once again made history, extending his lead for the most Diamond-certified records in RIAA history.
According to Chart Data, his 2011 hit “The Motto” has officially gone Diamond, marking the rapper’s 15th single to reach the milestone.
Drake’s growing list of Diamond-certified hits also includes “God’s Plan,” “Hotline Bling,” “One Dance,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Life Is Good,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE,” “Nice For What,” “No Guidance” with Chris Brown, “Headlines,” “Nonstop,” and “Passionfruit.”
Along with his 15 Diamond-certified singles, Drake also has one Diamond-certified album — Take Care.
In other Drake-related news, the rapper reportedly penned a personalized verse for a fan on Instagram who asked him for a senior quote.
Instagram user @seth.hinkle24 sent Drake a message saying, “hook me up [with] a senior quote [please],” and to everyone’s surprise, the rapper allegedly replied with a custom verse that could easily fit on his upcoming Iceman album.
“Seth move like liquid baby but Seth kept it solid,” Drake allegedly wrote. “5 deep in the whip plotting on them dollas, Me I’m sitting backseat stoned in the middle like a Olive.”
He reportedly followed it up with, “Might be too long but ur goated if they let you bar up,” after sharing the verse with the fan.
As for Iceman, Drake hasn’t announced an official release date yet, but with several tracks already out — including collaborations with Central Cee and Yeat — the highly anticipated album is expected to drop before the end of 2025.
