Lil Yachty might be killing it in the rap world, but his skills as an ear piercer could use some serious work — as proven by his hilarious attempt on celebrity jeweler Greg Yuna.
In a video shared on social media, the rapper switched roles from music star to makeshift piercer, taking a shot at piercing Yuna’s ear instead of rocking his jewelry.
Yuna, known for crafting Ariana Grande’s engagement ring and creating pieces worn by stars like Floyd Mayweather and Meek Mill, sat patiently as Yachty prepped for the job. The only problem? Yachty placed the piercing gun in the wrong spot — and neither of them seemed to notice.
When it was time to actually pierce, Yachty clicked the gun, and Yuna immediately sensed something was off. “Is it stuck?” Yuna asked, as Yachty nervously replied, “It’s in there.”
That’s when Yuna hit him with the question of the moment: “How are we going to get it out?”
Usually quick with his words, Yachty was completely speechless this time. “Oh, I don’t even know,” he admitted. “I didn’t look at that part.”
After some panicked fumbling, the rapper finally managed to remove the piercing gun from Yuna’s ear—revealing the jeweler’s brand-new piercing. But when they looked in the mirror, the mistake became clear: Yachty had pierced the bottom of Yuna’s ear instead of the middle of his lobe.
“It’s in the wrong place,” Yuna said with a grin. “Who pierces an ear like that?”
Safe to say, Yachty won’t be picking up a side gig as a piercer anytime soon.
