50 Cent Jokingly Says It’s “Very Troubling” to Be Called a Troll: “I’ve Worked Tirelessly for That Title”

50 Cent, known for his unmatched commitment to public trolling, was back in full form on Instagram after BMF was canceled this week — though he insists he’s no “troll.”

The Starz series, co-produced through 50’s G-Unit banner, starred Demetrius Flenory Jr., better known as Lil Meech, portraying his father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. The show premiered in 2021 and ran for four seasons before wrapping up. 50 has since hinted that a spinoff might be in the works.

After the cancellation news broke, 50 took to Instagram with his trademark humor, firing off multiple jabs at Lil Meech — including a photoshopped image of the 25-year-old holding a sign that read “OUT OF WORK.”

Following the wave of headlines labeling his latest Instagram antics as trolling, 50 Cent has responded with his signature humor — and a hint of mock indignation.

“The fact that TMZ is calling me a troll is very troubling to me,” the Street Fighter actor and recent Complex interviewee wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Oct. 29. “I have worked tirelessly to build my brand and I’m now being reduced to nothing more than a troll.”

Joking or not, 50 has always appreciated a good dose of trolling — even when it’s coming from others. Earlier this month, he openly praised Nicki Minaj for her playful jabs at Jay-Z during her Pink Friday 2 era, telling fans, “I like when she get mad.”
