Camilla Araujo has brought back one of the internet’s most unforgettable moments by recreating Kim Kardashian’s iconic 2014 Paper magazine cover.
The recreation mirrors the original down to the details — champagne bottle in hand, flute balanced on her backside, sleek black gown, and that same glossy pose. Only this time, the mock cover reads “Camilla Araujo” with the year updated to 2025.
Araujo shared the shot on Instagram with a simple caption: “Camilla Araujo for Paper Mag 2025.”
“Ate!” one fan commented.
“We all can agree Camilla did it best,” another wrote.
“Dare I say you did it better,” added one follower.
Still, not everyone was impressed. One critic called the recreation “Forced!!! She a bird…” while another asked, “How many takes?”
The side-by-side post made it clear that Araujo’s homage was intentional.
Kim Kardashian’s original Paper magazine cover — photographed by Jean-Paul Goude for the Winter 2014 issue — was far more than just a photoshoot.
When Kim Kardashian’s Paper cover dropped back in 2014, it ignited major conversations around fame, body image, and cultural influence. Already a dominant force on social media with millions of followers across Instagram and Twitter, that now-iconic image solidified her crossover from reality TV star to global pop culture and fashion phenomenon, landing her in everything from tabloids to high-end magazines.
While Kardashian’s original shoot came at the height of media frenzy surrounding her family, marriage, and TV empire, Camilla Araujo’s recreation emerges in a different era — one where social media creators wield the same star power once reserved for reality legends.
Her audience didn’t hesitate to react. “Camilla runs the internet at this point,” one fan declared. Judging by the numbers, they might be right — the post racked up more than 40,000 likes in under two days.
Araujo recently kept the momentum going with a self-funded ad inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
“You guys know I’m not really brand friendly, but I’ve always wanted to shoot a commercial,” she says at the start of the video.
“So today I decided, well, I’m just gonna shoot my own commercial, pay for it myself, and promote me on you know where I’m promoting it.”
