Bobby Shmurda might’ve just cashed in big after Zohran Mamdani’s win in the New York City mayoral election.

“Time to throw the house on @kalshi. who do you think winning this shit?” Bobby wrote on his Threads account on Monday (Nov. 3), sharing a screenshot of his $149,328 bet with 90% odds of winning.

Although Shmurda didn’t immediately update fans about his bet after Tuesday’s election, he appeared all smiles in an Instagram Story he posted Wednesday morning, paired with an eyes emoji.

In a post on his X account Wednesday, Bobby Shmurda wrote, “Kalshi predicted this race ABOUT A WEEK AGO.”
The night before, Zohran Mamdani was announced as the winner of the New York City mayoral race. According to NBC News, the 34-year-old secured more than 1 million votes, defeating former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.
During his victory speech, Mamdani made a bold entrance to Ja Rule’s 2004 anthem “New York,” featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss—a move widely seen as a playful jab amid his lighthearted feud with 50 Cent, who has been outspoken against Mamdani’s proposed tax hikes on the wealthy.
