Drake is back flexing his acting chops.
The Degrassi alum, whose highly anticipated album Iceman is set to drop before the end of the year, makes a cameo in the latest season of The Office Movers, streaming on Canadian platform Crave.
In a clip from the new season, released Friday, Drake hilariously asks, “Like, you guys have movers, but do you guys have guys, you know, like real guys?” The 39-year-old OVO founder bursts into laughter as the others struggle to grasp the difference between an ordinary “guy” and the kind of “guy” he’s talking about.
Drake eventually tries to clarify his point by throwing in a reference to Guy Fieri — but the confusion only deepens.
“It’s not making sense to you?” he asks, clearly amused. “Maybe I’m not even speaking English. I don’t know. Maybe I’m speaking Guyanese. Everything we use to live is made in Guywan. I’m losing it, bro.”
The Office Movers was created by Jermaine “Jae” and Trevaunn “Trey” Richards, who also star in the show. Ahead of Friday’s Season 2 premiere, Crave revealed that the series has already been renewed for a third season.
“The Office Movers is a hilarious slapstick comedy with plenty of heart,” said Justin Stockman, Vice President of Content Development & Programming at Bell Media, the show’s distributor. “Jae and Trey’s sharp, culture-savvy humor keeps the series perfectly in tune with the moment—and we’re thrilled they scored a guest appearance from one of Canada’s most iconic cultural figures.”
