Halloween photos of Orlando Bloom and Rachel Lynn Matthews have been making waves online.
What’s catching everyone’s attention? Matthews—who’s rumored to be Bloom’s new flame—showed up dressed exactly like his ex, Katy Perry, from her Blue Origin space mission in April. She nailed the look with a blue bodysuit and black wig, perfectly channeling Perry’s out-of-this-world style.
Matthews posted the pictures on her Instagram Story, showing Bloom in a skeleton costume with his arm around her. In another shot, she hilariously reenacted the viral moment when Perry kissed the ground after her 11-minute Blue Origin flight, adding the caption, “Take up space!”
Back in early July, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry confirmed they had ended their nine-year relationship, six of which they were engaged. The former couple share a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
“Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando,” a source told People at the time. “He’s the father of their daughter, and that will always come first for her.”
“They’ve been through a lot together, and while they’ve chosen to go their separate ways, there’s still mutual respect between them,” the insider added. “They’re staying in touch and co-parenting Daisy. For their daughter’s sake, they’re committed to keeping things amicable.”
The timing of it all is pretty notable—just as Perry dropped her new song “Bandaids” on Nov. 7, which fans believe is about Bloom. In the emotional track, she sings, “Got so used to you letting me down/No use trying to send flowers now/Telling myself you’ll change you don’t/Band-Aids over a broken heart.”
According to Cosmopolitan, Katy Perry is now dating Justin Trudeau, with rumors of their romance starting in late summer. The two made things official when they hard-launched their relationship at Perry’s birthday celebration on Oct. 25.
While Perry and Orlando Bloom have kept quiet about the details of their split, Bloom opened up a bit about life after the breakup during a September interview with Today’s Craig Melvin.
“There’s been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?” Melvin asked.
“I’m great, man. I’m so grateful,” Bloom replied. “We have the most beautiful daughter. You know, when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie [The Cut]? I feel grateful for all of it.”
He added, “And we’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.”
