Boosie Badazz is weighing in on Diddy, and even though he maintains the troubled music mogul is innocent in his eyes, he’s upset and let down by how Diddy carried himself after the trial verdict was read.
In his recent stop on The Breakfast Club, Boosie shared that he hasn’t spoken to Diddy directly but still sees him as an old friend.
“No, I ain’t speak to Diddy, but you know Diddy was my partner, bro,” Boosie said. “I feel like Diddy ain’t never did nothing wrong, bro. I just feel like he didn’t do nothing wrong.”
But that loyalty came with a twist. Boosie admitted he didn’t like the way Diddy reacted after being cleared of the most serious charges in his sex trafficking and racketeering case.
“I’m mad at him right now though, man,” Boosie said before venting about the moment that rubbed him the wrong way — when Diddy dropped to the floor in relief after hearing the verdict.
“He went on the fucking floor crying at the fucking thing… he went on the fucking floor and went under the thing fucking crying […] There was a dick under there. Chin up, chest out, n***a! Fuck you mean? You Diddy! They went back there laughing at you: ‘Did you see that motherfucker down there in a fetal position?’”
Boosie didn’t sugarcoat how embarrassed he felt watching that moment go down.
“You got your children in there, n***a. You a man, you stand on that,” he said. “He was crying under the table.”
The Baton Rouge rapper added that he wants a one-on-one conversation with Diddy to understand what pushed him to react that way.
“I want to talk to Diddy. He need to call my phone,” Boosie said. “I need to ask him, why the fuck did you get down there under that fucking table.”
Boosie’s comments now join the growing wave of reactions surrounding Diddy as the mogul continues to deal with intense scrutiny and public fallout after the trial. Diddy was indicted in September 2024 in the Southern District of New York on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The trial kicked off in May, drawing national attention as witnesses and former associates took the stand.
After weeks of testimony, the jury spent three days deliberating before delivering a mixed verdict in July. Diddy was cleared of the most severe charges — racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking — but was convicted on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution involving Cassie Ventura and another former girlfriend.
By October, he was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison, along with a $500,000 fine. He’ll also face five years of supervised release once he completes his time.
Despite all the criticism, Boosie made it clear his frustration comes from a place of loyalty — from seeing someone he once admired fall short in a moment of pressure.
