Pete Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt says she dropped a bold confession on their very first date.
During a Bumble Q&A on Tuesday (Nov. 18), the 29-year-old model shared that she told Davidson, 32, she believed he would one day be the father of their children.
“When we went on our first date, we went out to dinner for the first time. I was like, ‘OK, don’t think that I’m crazy, but I just know you’re gonna be the father of my children,’” Hewitt recalled at the 36-second mark of the video above.
The couple, who started dating in March, are now expecting their first child, though Hewitt has been open about how painful her pregnancy has been.
According to TMZ, Hewitt said in a now-expired Instagram Story that she’s “been in pain since the very beginning and it’s just getting worse and worse.”
She continued, “I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day. I actually really don’t know how it could get worse than this.”
Back in July, the two revealed they were expecting with a playful Instagram post that said, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
Sources told TMZ that their baby is due this winter, and the outlet previously reported the couple had already moved in together by May.
After the news went public, Davidson told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he was “so excited” to become a dad.
“Anybody who knows me knows it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited,” he said. “Elsie’s excited. I’m excited to see her be a mom. So, we’re stoked.”
