Ja Rule is shutting down the rumors after gossip blogger Tasha K claimed he was jumped outside the New York hot spot Sei Less.
Tasha K took to X, formerly Twitter, saying she heard Ja Rule was attacked on Thursday (Nov. 20) night, adding, “I’m being told it was pretty phucking bad!”
But Ja Rule quickly clapped back, making it clear that’s not what went down.
“Tasha why you lying to these good ppl,” he wrote in a quote-tweet response. “Yes some bitch ass n***as tried to jump me, no it wasn’t at Sei Less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me.”

Ja Rule didn’t share any more details about what went down, but Tasha K has already fired back at his tweet denying her claim.
“As I said [Ja Rule] story developing,” she wrote. “Bottom line, I heard you got your a$$ beat… ain’t nobody lie on you… this is why I thought it was Sei Less… they ran down on you tho… Glad you ok!! #Receipts.”
She also posted a screenshot of someone allegedly giving her info about the supposed incident, along with a video that seemed to show Ja Rule being held back during a scuffle.

The clip was first posted by the Livebitez account, which claimed Ja Rule was caught up in a jumping incident backstage at a Monica and Brandy show.
No matter what truly happened, Tasha K is no stranger to legal trouble over her claims. Cardi B famously won a $4 million defamation judgment against Tasha K, born Latasha Kebe, back in 2022. And just last year, Soulja Boy threatened to take her to court after she hosted William the Baddest on her podcast, where he claimed they had a romantic history.
