Lil Pump Thanks His Fans and Shouts Out Sneako for Supporting Him When He Was “Dead Broke”

Lil Pump shared some heartfelt gratitude during Sneako’s stream.

On Wednesday, the Miami rapper reflected on what he’s thankful for ahead of Thanksgiving.

“I’m most thankful for my family, man, my fans, and just everything in general, bro. I’m thankful for you, bro,” Pump told Sneako. “Having good friends like this ‘cause bro, you don’t run into good people like this nowadays, bro, like it’s hard.”

Sneako went on to call Pump “realer” than “alpha males and these fake red pill manosphere types,” telling him, “That’s why you lasted this long because you’re real.”

Pump also spoke candidly about hitting rock bottom financially, revealing he “went all the way down to zero dollars,” and that Sneako “was there for me.” He added, “I was dead broke.”

Although the 25-year-old has rarely spoken publicly about his money issues, he made headlines in 2023 for reportedly owing the IRS more than $1.6 million in unpaid taxes. It wasn’t the first time debt rumors circulated — in 2021, he shut down claims that he owed $90K in back taxes.

Pump first blew up during the SoundCloud era with 2017 hits like “Gucci Gang,” “D Rose,” and “Boss.” Around that same time, in April 2017, he previewed a track called “Fuck J. Cole.” Many fans believed J. Cole fired back a year later with his April 2018 song “1985,” which was widely thought to address Pump and the wave of emerging mumble rappers.

The two eventually met face-to-face at Rolling Loud Miami in May 2018, where they squashed any tension. Cole later shared details of their conversation at the Sheltuh in North Carolina, explaining how he asked Pump about the origins of the “Fuck J. Cole!” phrase.

Pump said he only repeated it because fans were spamming the comment on his social media. “It wasn’t even serious,” he admitted. “I fuck with your shit. That shit’s hard.”
