Druski couldn’t resist teasing his grandmother about how she handled Thanksgiving this year.
Posted a series of clips to his Instagram Stories on Thursday (Nov. 27) from his visit with her.
“Another year she ain’t cook,” he captioned one video, showing a store-bought pie his grandmother picked up for the holiday, insisting it was “large enough” for her.
“This is Thanksgiving! Come on now,” Druski joked back.
In another clip, he filmed her dining area and pointed out how untouched it looked.
“You ain’t never let nobody sit in none of these chairs yet,” he said. “What’s the point of having it?”
His grandmother, meanwhile, seemed perfectly fine with her setup, noting that she sits in the dining space “all the time.”
Later on, Druski zoomed in on a Ziplock bag filled with old candy and cough drops, which he jokingly labeled “ancient.”
“Do you plan on eating that?” he asked as she grabbed a magnifying glass to examine what was inside. “Girl, somebody might drop and die. That ain’t gon’ help no sore throat. This’ll kill you. … You gon’ meet your maker taking one of these right here.”
At one point, a commercial featuring Druski and Tom Brady popped up on the TV, and the comedian proudly pointed out, “That’s your grandson!”
Back in 2022, during an interview with Speedy Morman, Druski looked back on spending Thanksgiving with his friend and collaborator Jack Harlow. He joked that the food was “trash,” even though he loved how “cool as hell” the family was.
“Thanksgiving at his house sucks,” Druski joked. “They were singing white people hymns. … I think every year, they print out these pieces of paper and they sing songs together after Thanksgiving. I thought it was a joke but it was deadass. It was really a real thing. He had aunts and uncles in there.”
This month, Druski jumped into the growing Marty Supreme promo wave by teaming up with Timothée Chalamet, the star of Josh Safdie’s upcoming film. A full video of whatever chaos they cooked up is expected to drop soon.
