The Game Tells Adin Ross He Needs to ‘Check In’ Whenever He Comes Back to Los Angeles

The Game is back in the spotlight after dropping what sounded like an indirect warning to Adin Ross about coming to Los Angeles — a moment many fans think is tied to Ross’ recent shots at Kendrick Lamar.

In a new Instagram clip, N3on asked The Game if he was “cool with Adin,” noting that the Kick streamer wanted to return to L.A. to shoot fresh content. The Game said he does vibe with Ross, but made it clear there’s one big rule.

“Adin’s got to check in first,” The Game said. “It seems like he’s coming out here and he’s thinking he gon’ do what he want to do. But this is L.A.”

The comment instantly set social media on fire. Even though The Game didn’t mention Kendrick Lamar directly, fans wasted no time making the connection. Ross has spent the past month clowning Kendrick during his back-and-forth with Drake, calling him overrated and roasting his music live on stream. Those comments triggered major backlash from Kendrick’s die-hard L.A. supporters, who haven’t been shy about expressing their anger.

As a Compton native and a longtime defender of Los Angeles artists, The Game appeared to be tapping into that same energy. His “check in” line echoed the usual unspoken code in L.A. hip-hop culture — if you talk wild about local legends, you better move carefully when you step into the city.
