India Love stunned everyone at the 2025 Streamer Awards when she suddenly walked onstage to announce who she believed truly deserved the Breakout Streamer of the Year title.
When FaZe Adapt was revealed as the winner during the Dec. 6 livestream, the crowd cheered loudly for the fan-favorite creator. But moments later, Love casually made her way onto the stage, leaving the room in total disbelief as she grabbed the mic and spoke up.
“Streamer of the Year went to Adapt, and congratulations, we respect you for what you did. But Raki should have won Breakout Streamer of the Year, and DDG,” she declared. “I don’t care what y’all say. Shoutout Raki.”
The vibe flipped instantly after her interruption, with the crowd booing as security reportedly moved in to escort Love out of the venue.
Her stunt instantly drew comparisons to Kanye West’s infamous 2009 MTV VMAs moment, when he crashed Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to insist Beyoncé deserved the Best Female Video award instead.
“Yo, Taylor,” West said at the time. “I’m really happy for you. I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.”
Love’s unexpected stage-crash ended up becoming the headline moment of the entire event. The second-biggest storyline of the night happened when Tylil jumped in to defend Kai Cenat after a host made an awkward joke comparing him to Diddy.
Cenat was seated in the crowd when streamer FanFan walked up with a mic and cracked a joke about his appearance, right after poking fun at his “Streamer University.”
“Oh, and also, congrats on your new documentary with 50 Cent. That was you, right?” she said.
When Tylil spoke up behind her, she handed him the mic — and he didn’t hold back.
“If you’re going to be on the mic making jokes, at least let it be funny,” he said. “Have a good night.”
