Ja Rule Clowns 50 Cent’s ‘Street Fighter’ Movie Look, Calls Him a “Bullfrog”

Ja Rule couldn’t pass up the chance to poke fun at longtime rival 50 Cent after the rapper-turned-actor debuted his new on-screen look for the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

On Thursday, Ja reacted to a screenshot of 50 Cent suited up as Balrog in the teaser trailer, posting on X: “This look crazy… #NoFiddy #bullfrog.” The jab caught fire quickly, pulling in hundreds of thousands of views.

The image Ja Rule posted — pulled from a sneak peek of the film — shows 50 sporting a stern look, a razor-sharp hairline, thick chains, and a glossy, futuristic jacket under cool blue lighting. You can catch Fif at about the 0:03 mark in the clip below.

50 Cent is stepping into the role of Balrog, the iconic and corrupt heavyweight boxer from Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise. Balrog is known for his brute force, permanent scowl, and allegiance to the villainous Shadaloo organization—traits that line up perfectly with 50’s tough-guy screen persona. The rapper previously confirmed his role in the film, which immediately sparked buzz among fans of both hip-hop and the classic video game series.

The new Street Fighter movie is being produced by Legendary Entertainment, which acquired the rights to bring the franchise back to film and television. This reboot aims to relaunch the series after multiple past adaptations, including the 1994 live-action film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The upcoming cast is stacked, featuring Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Eric André, and more.
