Bobby Shmurda found himself caught in a wild altercation during a nightclub appearance in Minnesota over the weekend, after a clash with a heckler exploded into a full-on brawl.
The chaos went down Saturday night while the Brooklyn rapper was performing at the MN Gold Room in Minneapolis. Eyewitnesses say tensions flared when someone in the crowd allegedly tossed a bottle toward Shmurda while shouting an obscenity at him.
Shmurda fired back with some heated words, clearly irritated by the disrespect. Seconds later, things took a turn as several people charged toward the rapper, sparking a physical fight near the stage.
Footage from inside the venue captures the scene erupting—pushing, swinging, and security scrambling as they tried to get things under control. In the middle of the commotion, Shmurda managed to pull back toward the DJ booth, looking shaken as he attempted to shield himself while the crowd swarmed around him.
Sources told TMZ that the rapper grabbed a chair to defend himself and keep people at a distance until law enforcement stepped in. Police eventually escorted Shmurda out of the club and safely to his car. It’s still unclear if anyone was arrested, and authorities haven’t released an official statement yet.
After the chaos, Bobby popped up on Instagram Stories dancing and saying, “You just fucked up the whole program” to the camera.
This isn’t the first time one of his shows has ended in drama. Last year, a performance at the Proud Cabaret nightclub in London also broke out into a confrontation involving Shmurda’s crew and venue staff.
No major injuries were reported in that incident and police weren’t called, with the rapper leaving the venue shortly after. For now, there are no reports of injuries from the Minnesota brawl, and Shmurda hasn’t issued any public comment.
