50 Cent is still riding high off the success of his documentary centered on Sean “Diddy” Combs, this time cracking a joke tied to Netflix’s smash series Stranger Things.
The rapper took to Instagram with a post that read, “I know Stranger Things is pissed they spent $500M on a season, only to be beat by Diddy doing stranger things.” In the caption, Fif added, “I been working today I haven’t seen anything what’s going on?”

The post highlighted how the documentary executive produced by Fif, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, is nearly matching the popularity of Stranger Things’ final season. In its debut week, Sean Combs: The Reckoning pulled in 21.8 million views on Netflix within six days, trailing just behind Stranger Things, which logged 23.6 million views.
After the documentary landed on Netflix on Dec. 2, Fif addressed criticism about his involvement in the project, especially given his long-running issues with Diddy. Speaking during an interview on Good Morning America, the rapper explained that his role wasn’t driven by personal motives.
“What they considering a preexisting beef, for twenty years… [It’s] me being uncomfortable with him suggesting that he takes me shopping,” he said. “It was like a tester. Like, ‘Maybe you’ll come play with me.’… It’s not personal.”
During the same interview, Fif also commented on a moment in the series showing Diddy allowing a film crew to record him while speaking with his lawyers about the case.
“It was surprising that he actually filmed it,” Fif said.
In a separate discussion with Gold Derby, Fif shared his belief that hip-hop’s long-standing stance on “snitching” played a role in why Diddy’s behavior went unchecked for so long.
