Keke Palmer’s Mom Warns Blueface Over Lyrics on Their New Song

Keke Palmer’s mom, Sharon Palmer, made it clear she’s keeping tabs on the music her daughter is creating with Blueface.

On Sunday (December 21), Keke joined the rapper on a livestream while they worked on a new song together. Not long after the session kicked off, Mrs. Palmer phoned her daughter at the studio and asked to speak directly with Blueface.

“Hi, Mr. Blueface. How you doing?” Sharon said, before complimenting the rapper and reality TV star by calling him “handsome.”

She went on to address the song Keke Palmer and Blueface were working on, letting him know she had concerns about some of his lyrics, which she felt could come off as disrespectful — and she didn’t want her daughter pulled into any backlash.

“Y’all writing two different songs and some of that stuff you saying, my daughter can’t be a part of,” she said. “I’m hearing wife beaters and transgenders…”

Blueface brushed it off by saying they were “just rappin’,” while Keke jumped in to clarify that there was “nothing wrong” with trans people.

The livestream also delivered a few funny moments, including Blueface getting visibly jealous after Keke referred to her engineer as “boo.”

“Don’t call nobody else boo but me,” Blue told the One of Them Days actor.

Other moments from the livestream touched on Blueface’s growing collection of face tattoos, as well as Keke attempting — unsuccessfully — to teach him Pilates. Instead of following her instructions, the rapper, who now has a new girlfriend, ignored the moves and started humping the air.

Elsewhere in Blueface news, the rapper has made it known that he wants no part of 21 Savage’s “Fuck the Streets” movement.

Blueface, who had already taken shots at the movement, shared his stance on X. “Next time say fuc yo street lol I’m not shaking none of you n***as hands back stage no more I never thought I’d see the day n***as saying fuc the streets for a 21 savage feature fuck da industry !” he wrote.

Before that, he posted, “I love the streets,” as the movement picked up steam and earned support from artists like G Herbo and Pooh Shiesty. “You square ass n***as should have never jumped off the curb smh,” he added.
