Doja Cat is making waves online after appearing to try to swallow a microphone during a recent show.
The odd moment went down on Dec. 13 at the singer’s concert in Seoul, South Korea, part of her Tour Ma Vie world tour. In the now-viral clip, Doja is seen pressing her lips around the top of the microphone, giving off serious Elvis vibes.

Doja Cat’s Tour Ma Vie concerts have earned a reputation for being bold, theatrical, and downright unpredictable. At a show in Thailand earlier this month, the singer hit the stage in a pink wig with white residue smeared across her nose while performing her track “Demons,” a song that alludes to drug use.
The Tour Ma Vie run is backing Doja Cat’s latest album, Vie, which arrived in September. Speaking with Complex, the artist called the project an “adventurous” addition to her expanding body of work.
“I chose Vie as a nod to ‘La Vie en Rose’ and tied it together with the theme of romance and throughout this project I give my interpretation on love, sex, romance, pain, and wonder within a relationship,” said Doja Cat.
The Tour Ma Vie trek is set to continue across the globe next year, before finally closing out with dates in North America next December.
