Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Larry David came together for a rare Seinfeld reunion over the holiday season.
On Saturday (December 27), Seinfeld shared two photos on Instagram capturing a Christmas Eve meet-up with his former co-stars. The snapshots show the trio laughing together, a moment that instantly sparked nostalgia for fans who still celebrate the iconic sitcom decades later.
“‘The creatures were stirring…’ Christmas Eve 2025,” Seinfeld wrote in the caption, playfully nodding to the classic poem ’Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Fans holding out hope for an official reunion may be waiting a long time. Back in 2021, Seinfeld put an end to any talk of the show returning. While speaking during a press run, the comedian made it clear: “There’s absolutely nothing going on.”
“I am very much a nostalgia person. I love to go to my house where I grew up on Long Island … But I like to go forward in life. I believe that going forward. I don’t know what we would do that would be good,” Seinfeld said at the time.
He also warned that there was a chance the cast today “wouldn’t be as good,” adding that he was satisfied with how the series ended after nine seasons. “I think we did a good job,” he joked.
Seinfeld originally aired on NBC from 1989 to 1998 and went on to become one of television’s most celebrated sitcoms, earning numerous accolades, including an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993 and a Golden Globe for Best TV Series in 1994.
Reflecting on the decision to end the show, Seinfeld told People in 2021: “I was in the ninth season and I was thinking, maybe it’s time to wrap this up. I remember inviting Michael and Julia and Jason to my dressing room, and we all just sat there and we stared at each other.”
He continued: “And I went, ‘You know, I was thinking maybe this is our moment to make a good exit. We’ve had a lot of good fortune here. Maybe we shouldn’t push our luck too far.’ And we all agreed that this was the right moment.”
