Kanye West and Kim Kardashian set aside their past issues and reunited for the holidays in the interest of their four kids.
According to TMZ, the former couple — who finalized their divorce in 2022 after eight years of marriage — were reportedly “cordial with each other” while spending Christmas with their children: North West, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.
While the SKIMS founder hasn’t remarried since splitting from Ye, she has been linked to Pete Davidson and Odell Beckham Jr. Meanwhile, the BULLY rapper has since married architect Bianca Censori.
In recent weeks, West and Censori were spotted around Los Angeles, including attending Deon Cole’s comedy show at the Hollywood Improv and visiting Disneyland’s California Adventure with Saint and Chicago. The couple was also recently seen in Seoul, Korea, where Censori showcased her BIO POP exhibit.
The holiday reunion signals a noticeable shift in Kardashian and West’s relationship, marking progress after a turbulent post-divorce period that included Ye’s social media outbursts. On the latest season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the All’s Fair star opened up about how stress related to West caused her psoriasis to flare up and reinforced her need to protect her children.
“They’re gonna know things. They’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see,” Kardashian said in a season seven episode. “So my job as a mom is to just make sure that — at a time when that behavior is happening — is just to make sure that they’re protected.”
West has also begun addressing his past controversies, including offensive comments about the Jewish community, which he apologized for during a recorded sit-down with Rabbi Yoshiayao Yosef Pinto last month.
“I was dealing with some various issues, dealing with [being] bipolar, also,” the rapper-producer said. “So it would take the ideas I had and have me take them to the extreme where I would forget about the protection of the people around me and/or myself.”
