6ix9ine is getting ready to serve a 90-day federal prison sentence, and ahead of turning himself in, he made one thing very clear during a livestream: he is not suicidal.
While appearing on a recent stream with Adin Ross, the controversial rapper directly addressed rumors and speculation as he spoke about his upcoming time behind bars.
“I am not suicidal. I do not want to kill myself,” 6ix9ine said. “I’m literally going in there for 90 days. I didn’t hang myself. Clip this. I did not hang myself. Nothing. I’m not suicidal. I’m nothing. And I’m going to be very cautious.”
Ross added that he plans to personally take the rapper to begin serving his sentence, revealing that he intends to stream the moment and surprise 6ix9ine with a gift once he’s released.
“I’m going to get you a really fucking nice gift when you get out. When you’re free. Oh my god. I’m going to get you a nice gift,” Ross said.
The remarks come just weeks after 6ix9ine appeared in federal court in Manhattan, where Judge Paul Engelmayer sentenced him to three months in prison for multiple violations of his supervised release. Those violations included possession of cocaine and MDMA, along with a battery incident that occurred inside a Florida shopping mall.
The judge also tacked on an additional year of supervised release. 6ix9ine is set to report to prison on January 6, 2026, and has asked to serve his sentence at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has previously been held.
During the sentencing hearing, Hernandez gave an emotional statement, describing years of harassment and violent encounters he claims resulted from cooperating with federal authorities in his 2019 racketeering case. He said he’s been kicked out of restaurants, attacked in public, threatened at events, and even had a coffin left outside his home.
“Each scenario, I walked away,” he told the judge. “How many times do I have to walk away for you guys to see it’s a pattern?”
Judge Engelmayer acknowledged the risks 6ix9ine faces but also called out his repeated poor choices, describing his behavior since release as a mix of improvement and continued missteps. In the end, the court decided that prison time was necessary to address the ongoing violations.
Still, 6ix9ine maintained on Adin Ross’s livestream that he’s mentally sound and simply getting ready to serve his sentence.
“I’m going in for 90 days,” he said. “That’s it.”
