Papoose decided to flip the script and give 50 Cent a taste of his own medicine after Fif posted an AI-generated clip poking fun at Pap over a reported scuffle with a TikTok comedian.
The back-and-forth kicked off when 50 Cent shared a video that digitally placed Papoose and his girlfriend, Claressa Shields, onto the two main characters from Jamaa Fanaka’s underrated 1976 drama, Emma Mae. In the original scene, Emma Mae confronts Jesse Amos over his lack of love. In 50’s version, Shields and Pap’s faces replaced the characters.
“You can’t just go around putting your hands on people,” 50 Cent wrote alongside the post, seemingly referencing claims that Papoose allegedly assaulted comedian Gerald Huston after Huston compared Shields to “Serena Williams.” After the rumors began circulating, Shields confirmed the incident happened and said Papoose was stepping in to defend her.
Papoose didn’t let it slide. In his response, he dragged 50 Cent’s ongoing tension with the Let’s Rap About It podcast—hosted by Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino, and Dave East—into the mix.
“No No No stop deflecting Curtis,” Pap wrote alongside his own AI-generated video, which showed a feminine version of 50 Cent twerking. “The world is STILL waiting for ya response to Fab & them. You from southside do something ? Fight or flight ? Holla if you need a ghostwriter Champ… I mean Chump!”
Papoose was referencing Fabolous’s recent Christmas Day freestyle, where he took direct shots at 50 Cent.
50 Cent responded on Instagram by brushing off the clip with jokes. “Look what Pap posted Hahaha, that look like one of his joints all his hoe’s handsome,” he wrote. “They tougher than him LOL.
Although 50 Cent still hasn’t directly addressed Fabolous, he closed out the year with a warning that he’s ready if things escalate. “Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity,” Fif wrote. “I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end.”
