Kanye West’s upcoming album Bully will not include any AI, according to people close to the rapper.
Over the weekend, music manager Peter Jideonwo took to X to shut down the speculation, confirming that the project won’t feature any artificially generated music.
“(There) is no AI on bully,” Jideonwo wrote.
Milo Yiannopoulos, Yeezy’s former chief of staff, backed up the claim with his own post on X, adding, “For those who need to hear it from a white man, No AI on Bully.”
According to the platform infolky, Yeezy’s support team also backed up the claim, confirming the news in an email.
Bully is scheduled to drop on Jan. 30. Back in February 2025, Ye told Justin Laboy that the long-delayed project would include AI, even previewing how he could transform someone else’s vocals into his own.
“It’s like the next version of sampling,” he said after playing a snippet. “Like when sampling happened, they hated it.”
The album will feature 13 tracks, including several songs fans have already heard, such as “Preacher Man,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Damn,” “Last Breath,” and “Losing Your Mind.”
According to Touré, Ye handled all the production himself.
“‘This album is 100% him.’ They meant it’s pretty much made by Kanye alone. He’s producing everything entirely on his own. This will be 100% Kanye West, which it hasn’t been in many, many years,” the journalist wrote in his newsletter.
Ye has also launched a new website where physical copies of Bully are available, including CDs, cassettes, box sets, and vinyl.
