Mariah the Scientist had a question for former Love & Hip Hop star Hazel E after she left a comment on a post featuring her fiancé, Young Thug.
On Saturday (January 3), videographer @shotbymoneymeech shared a reel showing the UY SCUTI rapper walking to his car, which quickly caught Hazel E’s attention.
The reality TV alum dropped several fire emojis in the comments, sparking a response from Mariah, whom Thugger proposed to last month. “Which part is fire?” the “Burning Blue” singer asked. Hazel, seemingly not intending any offense, replied simply: “The aesthetic.”
While the exchange appeared harmless, it still sparked reactions from other users, with one commenter joking that Hazel seemed “thirsty.” Not long after, @shotbymoneymeech went on to post a separate reel featuring Hazel.
Hazel was previously married to reality TV personality and model De’Von Waller from 2019 to 2023 and was briefly linked to Blueface last year. Their situation ended in late November after Blueface said he preferred dating a “young bitch,” a statement that ultimately led him to his current girlfriend, influencer Nevaeh Akira.
Mariah, meanwhile, seems intent on keeping her relationship with Thug secure. The pair have been together since 2021 and first worked together on “Walked In.” Just weeks before the rapper popped the question during an Atlanta concert, Mariah revealed in an interview with Angie Martinez that she was hoping to “settle down” soon.
“I just want a commitment that doesn’t involve an obligation to a baby,” Mariah said at the time. “I just want it to be out of love, not out of responsibility.”
