50 Cent took aim at a new Papoose track that fans believe was a subtle jab at him.
The G-Unit boss has been nonstop with the trolling, dragging Papoose and his girlfriend, pro boxer Claressa Shields, for weeks. It all kicked off after Fif joked about Papoose getting into a physical altercation with TikToker Gerald Huston. The incident happened after the comedian deliberately referred to Shields as “Serena Williams” during a run-in last October, which reportedly led Papoose to throw a punch.
On Tuesday (Jan. 6), Papoose appeared to fire back at Fifty by sharing a studio video of himself rapping along to a new song. Some fans quickly suggested the track was directed at the “Many Men” rapper.
“People who don’t know hip-hop, they gon’ say this beat sound dated,” Papoose spits in the clip. “But they don’t know the shit that we had to go through to make it.”
He continues, “They don’t know know timeless music is forever gon’ be dangerous, while all them one-hit wonders come and go ‘cause they Wankstas,” giving a clear nod to 50 Cent’s breakout 2002 hit.
While Fifty clearly caught the line, he didn’t see it as any kind of threat. Instead, he reposted the clip on Instagram and laughed it off.
“WTF I can’t get jiggy wit this shit,” he wrote in the caption. “LOL Y’all TRASH! Make one song that can sell and I’ll come play. Y’all still trying to sell music right ?”

Just days earlier, Shields took a shot at Fifty’s place in hip-hop, tweeting that he’s “never been the best” rapper. She also told him to “stfu” after accusing Fif of “regurgitating lies” about her and Papoose.
