Yaya Mayweather appears to be taking a swipe at NBA YoungBoy, accusing the rapper of not helping pay for their son’s fifth birthday celebration.
In a post on X, Mayweather called out her ex and suggested he hasn’t been present as a father.
“You giving hoes money to go shopping and buying hoes jewelry, but still haven’t given me money for my son’s birthday party,” she wrote. “You know who paid for my son’s birthday party? MY DAD!!!!!!”
Mayweather, the daughter of legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., welcomed her first child, Kentrell Jr., with YoungBoy in 2021.
The 25-year-old sparked rumors last summer that she was expecting another child with the rapper following the release of his DJ Khaled-hosted mixtape, Deshawn.
On the song “This Month Confessions,” YoungBoy rapped, “Now Yaya pregnant, gotta make her get rid of it / This ain’t the time, I told you, ‘No,’ I made you cry, now I feel illiterate.”
Yaya Mayweather later shut down the speculation, posting multiple updates on her Instagram Story.
“Idk where y’all getting this from but I’m not pregnant,” she wrote in August, according to TMZ.
She also showed support for YoungBoy — who has been married to Jazlyn Mychelle since 2023 — in a follow-up message.
“I love you more than words could ever explain, and no matter how far away you go in the world, I’ll always be here for you, cheering you on,” she said at the time.
The 26-year-old rapper is the father of 10 confirmed children with eight different women.
