No, Kendall Jenner isn’t gay.
During a recent episode of Owen Thiel’s In Your Dreams podcast, the supermodel spoke directly about the online rumors surrounding her sexuality.
“There’s the whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” she told the host around the 36:50 mark.
“You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it,” Jenner went on. “It’s not with, like, a welcoming arm of like, ‘Hey, if you were, yes, come join.’ It’s not kind. It’s very mean. It’s very like, ‘What the fuck are you doing?’”
She went on to say that while she doesn’t identify as gay, she wouldn’t feel the need to hide it if that were the case.
“I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people,” the 30-year-old said. “And I’m not saying that’s an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I’d be out if I was. I’m not saying it’s an easy thing. I’m just saying that knowing me and knowing how I would want to live my life, I would be. I’d have no problem being that.”
“I think that there’s this whole narrative that I’m hiding this thing,” she added. “I’ve seen really fucked up things that are like, ‘It’s bad for business,’ and I’m like, ‘What? How?’ I don’t understand it.”
“All’s to say, as of today, I am not,” Jenner clarified. “I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life.”
Kendall has been linked to several high-profile partners over the years, including her most recent relationship with Bad Bunny, which ended in late 2023, and her two-year romance with Devin Booker. She has also previously dated Harry Styles, Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, and A$AP Rocky.
Despite the public interest, Jenner has intentionally kept her dating life low-key. In a 2019 interview with Vogue Australia, she explained that she considers her friendships and relationships “special and very sacred,” adding, “I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.”
