It looks like Juelz Santana was involved in a serious car accident.
The Dipset rapper shared an image on his Instagram Story on Monday (Jan. 12), showing visible scrapes on his nose and cheek. He captioned the photo with the words “car crash.”
Santana didn’t provide any additional details about what happened, but his post suggested he’s okay and asked fans to keep him in their prayers.
Juelz Santana also made waves recently over his controversial thoughts on education. Back in late November, the rapper said he believes financial literacy should take priority over traditional reading skills.
“By the time they get to ninth grade, they should be learning how to start businesses,” Santana said on the No Funny Shit podcast. “But they don’t really need to learn how to read.”
“You could listen to a book on YouTube. You can still obtain the information. You don’t have to know how to read,” he continued. “I believe common sense is better than everything.”
Once Charlamagne tha God caught wind of the comments, the Breakfast Club host didn’t hold back, labeling the Harlem rapper “Donkey of the Day.”
“If you rely on the apps and audiobooks, then you’re always going to be dependent on someone else’s translation,” Charlamagne said. “But if you know how to read, then you have direct access to the information yourself. And what you can’t comprehend, what you don’t understand, then you can ask questions. That is the beauty of reading.”
“But you can’t comprehend or understand, if you don’t know how to read first,” he added. “Kids need to learn how to read full stop. Adults need to learn how to read full stop. Reading matters so much, man.”
