Chelsea Handler is reflecting on her short-lived relationship with 50 Cent with equal parts fondness, jokes, and a bit of mess, and she’s making it clear she still enjoys how he operates today — especially when it comes to his nonstop trolling of Diddy.
While appearing on the We Might Be Drunk podcast, Handler gave props to 50 Cent for his ongoing public jabs at Diddy, admitting she finds the whole thing highly entertaining.
“I love what he’s doing to Diddy. I love what Fiddy’s doing to Diddy,” she said, before adding, “Yeah, he’s relentless. He’s great.”
The comedian, who dated 50 Cent years back, even joked that watching him stir drama almost made her think about rekindling things.
“I should probably revisit that,” she laughed.
Handler also dropped a bold claim about her place among his past relationships, saying she’s one of the few exes he doesn’t publicly clown.
“I’m the only one he doesn’t ever talk shit about,” she said. “Apparently… he talks shit about all of his exes, and I’m one of the only ones he talks about respectfully.”
According to the comedian, she thinks there’s a very straightforward explanation for why he keeps it respectful — she believes she was the ideal situation for him.
“He’s not going to have anything bad to say about me,” she said. “I’m a dream for him. I was a dream.”
Her comments also come during a week where Handler brought 50 Cent into her comedy on a much larger platform. While hosting the Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this month, she playfully poked fun at her ex while referencing his recent involvement with a Netflix Diddy docuseries.
Addressing the crowd, she joked, “The cast of KPop Demon Hunters is here — not to be confused with Netflix’s other music movie, 50 Cent: Diddy Hunter.”
