Camilla Araujo’s Boyfriend Owen Lynch Slams Florida ‘Sin Tax’ Proposal With a Strong Warning

Owen Lynch, who is both the boyfriend and manager of former OnlyFans star Camilla Araujo, went off on a new proposal from a Florida gubernatorial candidate that would introduce a so-called “sin tax” on adult content creators in the state.

In a heated Instagram Reel, Lynch suggested the move could push him to leave Florida altogether if it becomes reality.

“Apparently, this guy who’s running for Florida governor is trying to make a sin tax on all the money generated from OnlyFans,” Lynch said.

“You know me, proud OnlyFans manager, I might have to move out of Florida.”

Lynch, who helps oversee Araujo’s multimillion-dollar brand, directly called out Republican candidate James Fishback, who recently unveiled a plan proposing a 50% income tax on adult content creators as part of what he described as a wider cultural crackdown.

“Puerto Rico? Can’t go to Dubai, they don’t like that over there either,” Lynch added.

“We might be cooked, boys. Fifty percent sin tax. Maybe I need to look for another job. I’m probably just gonna put the fries in the bag at this point.”

Fishback defended the idea in recent interviews with Fox News Digital and FOX 35, claiming the tax would funnel money from the adult industry into Florida’s public school system.

“Young women once aspired to be devoted mothers, doctors, lawyers, and nurses,” Fishback said during his Fox News interview.

“Today, young women are told by an online platform called OnlyFans that it’s morally right to sell nude photos of themselves to strangers on the internet. I will not tolerate this cultural degeneracy as Florida’s next Republican Governor.”

Fishback estimated the proposed tax could bring in roughly $200 million annually and noted he’s also considering taxing OnlyFans subscribers. He framed the proposal as a moral stand.

“If you are a man or woman selling your body on the internet, you can either have two options,” Fishback said. “You can pay the state of Florida 50% so we can raise teacher pay, or you can quit doing that and do something morally rigorous.”

The proposal immediately drew criticism, including from OnlyFans star Sophie Rain.

Rain blasted the idea in an interview with People magazine.

“No one ever forced me to start an OnlyFans, it was MY decision,” Rain said. “I am a Christian, God knows what I am doing, and I know He is happy with me. That’s the only validation I need.”
