IShowSpeed’s Security Team Crashes Into Parked Truck During Senegal Livestream: “You Good?”

IShowSpeed’s Africa livestream featured a tense moment that left viewers on edge.

While in Senegal, the streamer was live as he rode through narrow streets in a moving truck. Clips making the rounds online show Speed standing through the sunroof as the vehicle rolled forward, with two security guards clinging to the sides to keep crowds from getting too close. That’s when things took a turn.

As the truck attempted to pass through a tight stretch of road, it scraped a parked vehicle, sending both security guards slamming into it as the truck pushed through. The collision looked rough, and Speed instantly went into panic mode, repeatedly checking to see if they were okay.

“You alright? You alright?” Speed can be heard shouting as the guards urge the driver to keep moving. “What do you mean go, y’all alright? … Yo, calm down, calm down. Are you alright? My n***a are you good?”

Despite the collision, both guards were able to steady themselves and climb back onto the moving truck, signaling to Speed that they were okay. Still shaken, Speed quickly told them to stop risking it and said, “Just get in the car.”

Speed’s ongoing Africa tour has been pulling massive attention online. The YouTube star has been livestreaming the trip as it happens, with nearly every stop turning into a viral moment—whether he’s being chased through the streets by fans, trying out local experiences, or finding himself in funny misunderstandings.

Just days earlier, Speed went viral for a much lighter moment during a stream from Algeria. While passing through a small town in the Sahara, he decided to buy a pair of sandals from a local vendor. Things got hilarious when the seller quoted a price of 2,200 Algerian dinars (about $17), and Speed completely misunderstood what he heard.

“How much he want for them,” Speed asked before the vendor responded with 2,200 Algerian dinars.

“Dinners? Dinners? Like a food dinner?” Speed said, thinking the number meant 2,200 plates of food instead of money.

The mix-up briefly stunned the locals before everyone burst out laughing as Speed tried to wrap his head around the price.
