Soulja Boy Brags About New Kick Deal and Drops Freestyle Taking Shots at Twitch

Soulja Boy is going all-in on live streaming — and he’s making sure everyone knows it, with both an announcement and a freestyle.

SB revealed that he’s teaming up with Kick, officially aligning himself with the fast-rising platform as it continues to challenge Twitch for dominance. The news broke Tuesday, with Soulja sharing the update directly with fans on social media.

“It’s official, I’m [a] Kick partner,” Soulja said in a video posted on X, showing off his watch.

Kick has yet to publicly confirm the partnership. The company hasn’t released a press statement since last Halloween

While the financial details of the deal haven’t been disclosed — and Soulja has a reputation for being loose with the numbers he claims to earn from endorsements — the move lines up with Kick’s recent strategy of spending heavily to lure big names away from rival platforms and boost visibility for its ecosystem. Not long after announcing the partnership, Soulja marked the moment by releasing a freestyle that quickly went viral, taking clear shots at Twitch while repeatedly reminding fans where they can now find him.

“Live on Kick, n***a, I’m live on Kick/Ain’t live on Twitch, n***a, I’m live on Kick,” he rapped, before leaning into Kick’s image as a more creator-friendly platform, particularly when it comes to payouts.

“Kick came with a hundred subs, n***a I done made it rain in a hundred clubs, n***a,” he continued.

The freestyle quickly spiraled into full-on viral madness, with Soulja boasting about the numbers he plans to pull on the platform and daring viewers to subscribe. “Yeah, I’m viral on Kick/I’ma get 100,000 views/I’ma get one million subs…” he rapped.

He later made it clear this isn’t a casual move or side hustle for him — he’s fully committing to the platform and staking his claim.

“On my momma, I’m the new face of Kick, n***a. This my shit,” Soulja said in another clip pulled from his stream.

In recent Kick streams, Soulja has been bouncing between different eras of his career while also teasing more gaming-heavy content, telling viewers he plans to play Fortnite more often.

Soulja Boy teaming up with Kick adds yet another major name to the platform’s growing roster, which already includes stars like xQc and Adin Ross. Kick has been pushing its creator-friendly 95/5 subscription revenue split, a sharp contrast to Twitch’s long-standing 50 percent cut.

Soulja’s relationship with Kick has been building for months. Last summer, he publicly contacted Kick support to request a username change from souljaboydripco to souljaboy — a move that was reportedly completed the very same day.
