IShowSpeed Gets Rushed While Dancing in Ivory Coast as Security Steps In to Contain the Chaos

IShowSpeed experienced a scary moment during his recent visit to Ivory Coast after being unexpectedly attacked while filming himself learning a traditional dance.

On Sunday (Jan. 25), Speed was dancing with a local performer when a strange man on a bicycle suddenly rolled into the shot. The individual, who appeared to be covered in baby powder and wearing what looked like a shower cap and a diaper, rode straight between Speed and the dancer before jumping off the bike.

Clearly caught off guard, Speed reacted in disbelief as the man moved closer. Seconds later, the agitator shoved the streamer, began shouting aggressively, and then lunged at him. The situation quickly escalated as the two briefly grappled and fell to the ground.

Security and nearby onlookers rushed in almost immediately, separating the man and escorting him away before things got any worse. Speed appeared shaken but was not injured, and the livestream continued afterward.

The incident can be seen starting around the 22-minute mark in the video or in the clip below.

The Ivory Coast incident happened just days after another tense encounter during Speed’s trip to Nigeria, where a livestream interaction with a muscular man calling himself “IShowStrength” quickly escalated.

While streaming in Lagos, Speed crossed paths with the shirtless man in red sweatpants, who claimed his superpower was “strength.” He showed it off by bending metal bars before hopping into a vehicle with Speed and his team.

During the drive, the man’s aggressive behavior became increasingly noticeable, leading Speed to repeatedly ask how he could calm him down. Speed suggested several options, including giving him money, helping him meet a woman, or taking him around Nigeria to lift his spirits.

After checking in with his crew and the livestream chat, Speed tried to defuse the situation by offering $1,000. Instead of easing tensions, the offer seemed to frustrate the man even more, as he began demanding a higher amount.

Sweating and slamming on the car’s ceiling, the man continued yelling that he was still angry and wouldn’t accept smaller sums. Even when Speed appeared to grab cash from his team, the man brushed it off, claiming it was only a small amount in Nigerian currency.

By the time the vehicle reached its destination, it appeared no money had changed hands, and the encounter ended without any clear resolution.
