50 Cent Chimes In on Lloyd Banks vs. Fabolous Debate: “They Both Think They’re Better Than Everyone”

50 Cent has seemingly weighed in on the viral back-and-forth surrounding Fabolous and Lloyd Banks.

According to 2Cool2Blog, Fif hopped on Instagram on Thursday (January 29) to repost a clip from Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, where Yayo made the case that Banks outshines Fabolous.

In the post — which was later deleted — 50 pointed out what he believes are similarities between the two rappers before ultimately calling the online argument “a tie,” though not without throwing a little shade in the process.

“They both write better when it’s about girls, they both think they are better than everybody,” 50 Cent allegedly wrote in the caption. “They both never put in no work them selves. They both are not likely to sell at this point in their career IT’s A TIE LADIES & GENTLEMAN.”

Fif also reposted another clip from The Breakfast Club interview where Tony Yayo praised the G-Unit boss for how he managed the label’s roster. “I’m just listening to what they got to say about me,” 50 captioned that post.

50 Cent’s alleged remarks arrive roughly a month after he posted a cryptic message that many fans took as a subtle warning directed at the hosts of the Let’s Rap About It podcast — Fab, Jim Jones, Maino, and Dave East.

“Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity,” Fif wrote in a December Instagram post. “I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end.”

The post featured a photoshopped image of 50 recreating Leonardo DiCaprio’s iconic The Great Gatsby toast, a visual often linked to quiet intimidation masked as confidence.

Although 50 didn’t call anyone out by name — and the message could easily be read as a general reflection heading into the new year — fans were quick to tie it to a recent freestyle from Fab, Jones, Maino, and East.

Just days before Fif shared the post, the Let’s Rap About It hosts dropped a freestyle that many felt was aimed directly at the “In Da Club” rapper. The track rapped over one of 50’s instrumentals, referenced him throughout, and was titled “Squatter’s Rights,” a clear callback to the “squatter” accusations 50 has previously thrown at the group online.
