Blac Chyna Says Her Kids Aren’t Interested in Instagram or TikTok

Blac Chyna isn’t focused on turning her kids into influencers — and she’s more than okay with it.

While stepping out at the Starry Starry Night Gala in Palm Desert, California, the entrepreneur and reality TV alum shared that social media isn’t really a priority in her children’s lives, noting that it hardly matters to them at all.

Speaking with People at the January 31 event, Blac Chyna shared that her son King Cairo, 13, and daughter Dream, 9, aren’t interested in social media platforms like Instagram or TikTok.

“King and Dream, they don’t care about Instagram or TikTok or any of these type of things at all,” she said. “They don’t care.”

For Blac Chyna, whose life has largely played out online, that separation is by design. She explained that she’s intentional about maintaining balance for her children, allowing them to enjoy their childhood while still being aware of the real world.

“They’re just being kids, and I’m letting them be kids,” she said. “I’m not putting them in certain things to disturb their inner childhood. I’m keeping them sheltered, but not too sheltered—just enough.”

Blac Chyna shares King with rapper Tyga and Dream with Rob Kardashian. Over the years, she’s been open about navigating co-parenting in the spotlight, but she’s stayed firm on what she believes keeps things running smoothly.

In previous interviews, she’s stressed that strong co-parenting starts with open communication and clear boundaries.

“The main thing is communication,” she previously told Access Hollywood, noting that boundaries help parents stay focused on what truly matters. “Ultimately, focus on the kid, show respect, have boundaries and communication, and you should have a healthy co-parenting life.”

She has also spoken positively about her evolving relationship with Kardashian, revealing that things have improved with time. “My co-parenting with Rob is 100 percent amazing,” she said. “Things do get better.”

Beyond motherhood, Blac Chyna says she’s currently putting herself first. She revealed that she’s taking a break from dating and focusing on personal healing, wellness, and structure, including consistent gym time and healthier eating habits.

“I’m giving all the love to myself,” she said. “If love is going to find me, it’s going to find me—but I need to heal myself first.”
