50 Cent has chimed in on the rumors surrounding Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ possible breakup.
Shortly after the New England Patriots fell to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night (Feb. 8), fans noticed that the rapper and the star wide receiver were no longer following each other on Instagram, sparking speculation that the pair had split.
It didn’t take long for the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper to jump into the conversation, sharing his thoughts on Instagram.
“Can you imagine waking up this morning and you done lost this b!tch and the Super Bowl,” Fifty wrote on Monday (Feb. 9). “I would tell everybody get away from me, have a drink and go back to sleep. LOL”
A source told Entertainment Tonight on Monday that Cardi and Diggs “recently” called it quits. The insider added that a reconciliation isn’t completely off the table.
“It’s possible they get back together and this could just be for right now,” the source said. “She is focused on her upcoming [Little Miss Drama Tour] and family while figuring out their next steps.”
When did Cardi B and Stefon Diggs start dating?
Speculation about a romance between the two first surfaced in October 2024. They later spent Valentine’s Day together in 2025 and made things Instagram official that June.
During a September 2025 interview with Jenna Bush Hager on TODAY With Jenna & Friends, Cardi revealed they were introduced by “mutual friends.”
“I thought he was cute,” Cardi said at the time. “I was like, ‘Oh, he’s gotta be mine.'”

Just days ahead of the release of her sophomore album Am I the Drama?, Cardi confirmed on CBS Mornings with Gayle King that she was expecting her fourth child — and her first with Diggs.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” she told King. “I’m excited, I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
The pair welcomed their son on November 4, 2025, a baby boy they sweetly nicknamed Baby Touchdown.

When Cardi posted the first photos of Baby Touchdown on Instagram, sharp-eyed fans noticed what looked like an engagement ring on her finger. However, a source later told TMZ that the couple was not engaged.
Diggs recently hinted that proposing to Cardi was “on the agenda” during a press conference last week.
“I gotta get mine first, though,” he joked.
