Tyga playfully cast doubt on where things stand between him and Drake in a new skit alongside podcaster Bobbi Althoff.
As part of the rollout for Season 2 of her podcast Not This Again, Althoff brought Tyga on board — just months after mending fences with Drizzy.
The two had a brief fallout in 2023 after their original interview was pulled from YouTube and they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Althoff later clarified that there was no real issue between them, and Drake eventually returned for a second sit-down to kick off the premiere of Not This Again.
The Season 2 teaser also features pop star Meghan Trainor playing a receptionist at a therapist’s office, checking Althoff in before she joins Tyga on the couch.
In the clip, Tyga admits it’s his “first time” in therapy and confesses he’s “not doing good right now.”
“And you you chose me to talk to?” Althoff shoots back.
Tyga goes on to explain what pushed him to seek therapy.
“Where do I begin?” he says. “My first marriage fell apart. Everybody thinks I’m a bad person because I missed my daughter’s first birthday. And I don’t even know if me and Drake are still friends.”
Althoff offers the “Rack City” rapper a bit of reassurance, telling him he’s “not a bad person” and joking that she’s missed all five of her daughter’s birthdays herself.
“And I don’t know what friend you’re talking about, but I hope you figure out your relationship with each other,” she adds before bluntly telling Tyga, “Figure your life out.”
The entire bit is clearly tongue-in-cheek. Tyga actually has one child — 12-year-old son King Cairo — and has never been married. While he did clash with his former Young Money labelmate Drake in the 2010s, the two reportedly smoothed things over by 2016 with help from Kanye West, now known as Ye.
Tyga may have been leaning into Althoff’s own storyline, as she finalized her divorce from Cory Althoff, the father of her two children, after four years of marriage. The podcaster is now dating G-League player Tyler Hawkins.
Season 2 of Not This Again premieres Feb. 18.
