Cardi B has reached yet another groundbreaking moment in her career, making history as the first female rapper to sell out two back-to-back nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
The milestone was announced on Friday (Feb. 20) by Live Nation on social media, marking a major highlight of the opening weekend of her Little Miss Drama Tour. The Bronx superstar took the stage before jam-packed crowds, delivering a larger-than-life arena show.
Cardi wowed fans with a 37-track setlist, a series of bold and elaborate outfit changes, and jaw-dropping stage production that even had her performing high above the audience. The concerts turned the venue into a dramatic, full-scale theatrical experience, mixing her biggest hits with striking visuals and sharp choreography.
The energy soared even higher with surprise appearances from GloRilla, Kehlani, Tyla, and Blueface, giving the sold-out audience even more to cheer about.
Cardi B took to social media to celebrate her tour momentum, proudly pointing out her run of sold-out shows.
“Five sold out shows back to back… packed to the brim!! Vancouver y’all better not break my streak. See y’all tomorrow!!! For now… where the Tim Horton’s at???” she wrote.
Her Los Angeles performances grabbed attention for more than just the impressive ticket sales. At one point during the show, Cardi had the crowd roaring as she playfully mimed an air guitar move in a provocative moment on stage.
During the first of her two nights at the Forum, the rapper also appeared to throw subtle shade at BIA before launching into “Pretty & Petty,” her diss track aimed at the Massachusetts artist.
“Let me tell you somethin’, just because I ain’t fuckin’ with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy, bitch!” the Brim Reaper said, fueling speculation about a possible split from her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. “This for you, bitch.”
Cardi’s comment seemed to be a response to a jab from BIA, who had previously taken aim at the I Am the Drama rapper online.
“Can u name someone with more bms than receiving yards?” BIA wrote. “I can! and I know that… ykwnvm.”
