Cardi B is seemingly addressing reports of an alleged outburst at Saturday Night Live.
On Wednesday (Feb. 25), TMZ claimed the rapper caused damage to equipment during a rehearsal for the late-night sketch show after reportedly overhearing a “Weekend Update” joke about Nicki Minaj.
“Hmmm all these little random stories… fck it, let them talk, let them eat cake, let them come to the ballllll,” Cardi wrote on X just hours later.
A Cardi fan page also highlighted that Alex Bruesewitz, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump and a friend of Nicki Minaj, weighed in by tweeting, “This is why people are calling her ‘crash out Cardi.’”
The fan account fired back, writing, “Then look who was quick to jump on the story! Cardi you make these people SICK knowing they can never control you. I see is exactly why you named the album AM I THE DRAMA?”
Cardi replied to the post herself, adding, “Now all of a sudden random stories coming out …like please -_-”
TMZ claims the alleged blowup happened while gearing up for SNL’s 1,000th episode on Jan. 31. According to the report, Cardi threatened to walk off the show and allegedly hurled her phone at a TV monitor backstage before punching a screen inside the producers’ office.
The damaged screen reportedly had to be swapped out ahead of dress rehearsal, leaving the set on edge, and the joke in question was apparently cut.
Cardi, who launched her Little Miss Drama Tour earlier this month, has also been trading shots with Bruesewitz this week over a separate report alleging that Nicki Minaj’s pro-Trump tweets were “amplified by an army of bots and coordinated activity.”
