Given how tough Kai Cenat was on Drake during his last “ICEMAN” stream, it’s clear he’s holding the Toronto star to a serious standard for this upcoming album.
Kai recently announced he’s stepping back from streaming to focus on his Vivet fashion brand — which Drake playfully mocked on his Instagram Story. “I am a vivet designer and these are my concepts,” Drake wrote, sparking a wave of jokes online. Kai wasted no time responding, firing back by telling Drizzy to finally release ICEMAN.
Fans from OVO and beyond are eagerly waiting on the project, which will be Drake’s first solo studio album since 2023’s For All The Dogs. So Kai’s impatience isn’t exactly shocking. In a screenshot shared to his Instagram Story and later reposted by Kurrco on Twitter, Kai DM’d Drake, “N***a drop the album.”
The 6ix God responded with a string of crying-laughing emojis and even added a flaming heart reaction to Kai’s message. While supporters continue pushing for the LP, Drake doesn’t seem fazed by the pressure. If anything, more trolling might be on the way before ICEMAN finally lands.
That still leaves the big question hanging: when is the album actually dropping?

Sharp-eyed social media users were quick to point out that Kai appeared to crop out another message from Drake in the screenshot he shared from their Saturday, February 28 exchange. Some fans even speculated that the hidden portion could’ve included the release date for ICEMAN.
For now, though, there’s still no official word on when the album will arrive. At press time, all signs point to a drop sometime this year. Fans may be hoping it’s sooner rather than later, but rumored leaks and online theories will have to wait for real confirmation.
The moment is especially amusing given Drake and Kai Cenat’s history. Kai previously made it clear he wasn’t feeling Drake’s third ICEMAN livestream, which opened the door for Drizzy to crack a few jokes at his expense. While some might try to frame it as tension, it all seems like playful back-and-forth more than anything serious.
Who knows — maybe Aubrey Graham and Vivet could even team up down the line. One thing’s certain, though: ICEMAN is on the way.
