Sophie Rain came to Georgina Rodriguez’s defense on Wednesday after critics slammed the model for sharing lingerie-style photos while flying to Milan Fashion Week on a private jet.
Rodriguez, 32, traveled from Saudi Arabia to attend Gucci’s runway show led by designer Demna.
Photos from the flight showed her sitting confidently in a black bra, patterned tights, and heels. The images quickly sparked a flood of reactions across X and Instagram.
“Wow I love this,” one X user commented. Another wrote, “So gorgeous.” A third praised her as “A true goddess. A fashion goddess. My goddess is Georgina Rodriguez.” Others chimed in with, “All a dream,” and, “So beautiful. So elegant. Just looking like a wow.”
Not everyone was impressed, though.
One critic posted, “My wife would never post something like this because she respects me.”
Another wrote, “Imagine being Ronaldo’s wife and posting such photos for online validation and getting hoe’s support after backlash.” Someone else claimed she “doesn’t need sell her self.”
Rain, who reshared the photos on X, stood firmly behind Rodriguez, writing, “why does her posting how she wants bother people so much? she looks stunning and i am sure her husband approves.”
Rodriguez has been under heavy scrutiny on social media in recent months. Earlier this month, she shared photos posing beside a £440,000 Ferrari, which triggered another round of online chatter.
