India Royale is shutting down chatter that she’s leaving Lil Durk behind as he deals with his ongoing murder-for-hire case.
After news broke that Durk’s trial was pushed from April to August, online speculation started swirling that Royale was moving on while he remains behind bars. She quickly addressed the rumors on Twitter on Friday, February 27, directly responding to Myron Gaines, who quote-tweeted a post from @_Mulaamamii featuring photos of Royale with another man and pointing out that she wasn’t at Durk’s recent court date.
“Women are NOT naturally loyal and 99% of CAN’T be because it’s against their own survival instincts,” Gaines wrote.
India didn’t hold back in her response. “Shut Up B***h,” she fired back, later adding, “Y’all taking it too far now. Stop with the false narrative.”
She also responded to a supporter on the platform, writing, “Can’t believe so many people lack common sense.” In another post, she quote-tweeted “*Husband Free that man!” over a message referring to the Chicago rapper as her “BD,” making her stance crystal clear.
All things considered, it looks like India Royale and Lil Durk are still solid, with Royale making it clear she’s standing by her husband. As the case continues to unfold, it wouldn’t be surprising if more rumors and online narratives pop up while people wait for further developments.
Lil Durk has been behind bars since his October 2024 arrest. Federal prosecutors allege he orchestrated a hit on Quando Rondo that resulted in a 2022 Los Angeles shooting targeting Rondo, which led to the death of his cousin, Lul Pab.
With the trial now set to begin in August, based on the latest update at press time, Durk will have spent close to two years in custody by the time proceedings start. If convicted, he could be facing life in prison.
